Those interested in participating in the contest can start bringing their golus to Island grounds from the 24th of September. The event inauguration will happening on the evening of 27th September. The prize distribution ceremony will be on the 5th of October. On 6th of October the participants can take their golu dolls back.

Lucky draw category - Individuals and groups displaying 1 to 499 dolls
Participants who are bringing 1 to 499 dolls are eligible for a lucky draw of 500 prizes to a total worth of Rs. 2 lakhs (no cash prize). Steps will be provided for displaying dolls.

Best Theme Golu category - Individual/Sabha/Club/Organisation
The individual/sabha/club/organisation has to display the theme golu of minimum 500 dolls in the event. We will be providing the steps and marking your registered name where the dolls have to be arranged. Registration fees will be Rs. 2000 for bringing 500 to 1999 dolls & Rs. 7500 for bringing 2000 & above dolls. Transport expenses will be paid by the organisers for the theme golu participants.

The Runner-up would win Rs. 30,000/- as cash prize

2. For Theme Golu category - Individual / Sabha / club/ organisation
The "Best Theme Golu" will win Rs. 50,000/- as cash prize
The Runner-up will win Rs. 25,000/- as cash prize
The Second Runner-up would win Rs. 15,000/- as cash prize
10 consolation prizes of Rs. 5,000/- each as cash prize
